LST is a proud member of the aviation community and affiliates with the following trade organizations to further the aviation and government contracting industry:

Aero Club of DC – The mission is “to foster and promote interest in the principles and development of aeronautics and to extend honors and hospitalities to eminent airmen.” The Aero Club hosts monthly luncheons in downtown Washington, DC and features speakers ranging from the U.S. Secretary of Transportation, the FAA Administrator, NTSB Chairman and Members of Congress to airline heads, trade association presidents and aviation analysts. The luncheons provide the opportunity for members to network with their colleagues in the Washington aviation community and to hear speeches from the leaders of our industry.

Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) – AFCEA is an international organization that serves its members by providing a forum for the ethical exchange of information. AFCEA is dedicated to increasing knowledge through the exploration of issues relevant to its members in information technology, communications, and electronics for the defense, homeland security and intelligence communities.

Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) – Founded in 1919 only a few years after the birth of flight, AIA is the premier trade association representing major aerospace and defense manufacturers and suppliers in the United States.

Air Traffic Control Association (ATCA) – Established in Washington, D.C. in 1956 by a group of air traffic controllers, the Air Traffic Control Association is dedicated to progress in the science of air traffic control and the preservation of a safe flight environment. It provides a forum in which those concerned can address the myriad issues inherent to the development of viable air traffic control systems and aviation infrastructures, and the ever increasing demands on the global navigable airspace environment.

Project Management Institute (PMI) – Project Management Institute is the world’s leading not-for-profit professional membership association for the project, program and portfolio management profession. Founded in 1969, PMI delivers value for more than 2.9 million professionals working in nearly every country in the world through global advocacy, collaboration, education and research.

Radio Technical Commission for Aeronautics (RTCA)  – RTCA is a private, not-for-profit association founded in 1935. They are the premier Public-Private Partnership venue for developing consensus among diverse, competing interests on critical aviation modernization issues in an increasingly global enterprise.
