LS Technologies personnel are supporting disaster response operations in support of Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, Jose, Lee, and Maria relief efforts. LST has been providing assistance to FAA facilities throughout the Eastern region, providing emergency events coordination and disaster event planning and deploying as part of the Communications Support Team. Our personnel have been instrumental in providing assistance to FAA throughout the Eastern region including the Eastern ROC. LST personnel shipped numerous FAA owned Satellite communication devices to Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, St. Croix, Florida, North and South Carolina in support of relief efforts in those areas.
LST employees deployed as part of the Communications Support Team on September 6 to Tallahassee, Florida and provided communications support to FAA representatives working at the Florida State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC). The Communications Support Team further deployed to the Miami Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) and Key West Airport in support of Hurricane Irma disaster response activities. LST helped the FAA ship key equipment to affected areas, including sending satellite communications devices and VHF radios and batteries to Jacksonville, Orlando, St. Thomas, Miami, and Puerto Rico. We remained on call to support mission requirements as they became known, ready to deploy, as required. LST’s Emergency Operations Network (EON) team contributed to the ERV deployment in support of Hurricane Irma and enabled users to track the ERV travel progress.
LST continues to provide operational support to the FAA during the ongoing recovery efforts and stands ready to deploy as required!
