Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Private Branch Exchange (PBX) Services

Scope: 24×7 Critical, Onsite Voice Systems (PBX) Lifecycle Maintenance (Preventive, Remedial, Emergency) and Training for 1,500 users at the IRS Service Center, Ogden, UT and other Local Satellite Offices.

LST Support: As a subcontractor to a commercial client, LST continues to provides 24×7 support for Astra’s E14 PBX switch and associated equipment in Utah as we have done on our previous contract. LST troubleshoots Voice Switching Equipment, Trunk Cards, Software, and Power Plants when there is a loss of dial tone or switch connectivity. LST responds to system outages classified as critical within two hours and ensures corrective actions do not exceed a 24 hour period. We correct system outages affecting more than 20 users within eight hours. We perform cabling on the main switch to the Main Distribution Frame (MDF) for installation of new user cards. Preventive or periodic maintenance activities are performed onsite and all maintenance is documented and maintained on premises.
