LS Technologies Announces Inaugural Awards Ceremony

Washington, DC [June 2014] – LS Technologies, LLC (LST), a small business government contractor primarily supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and headquartered in Fairfax, VA, announced the details of its first-ever company Awards Ceremony. The formal dinner cruise will take place on Friday, July 11, 2014 aboard the Odyssey Cruise in Washington, DC with awardees, their invited guests and LS Technologies Management in attendance. The event is a new way for management to celebrate and express appreciation for the contributions employees make in helping the company succeed.

The nomination and evaluation process took place in March 2014, with more than 50 of LST’s 200 employees nominated by management, leads, and colleagues from every contract, department, and location. Specific awards and prizes will be revealed at the inaugural event for categories including: excellent performance, loyalty, leadership, and teamwork. The majority of the awards will be performance-based, recognizing those who exhibit outstanding customer service, influence contract success, improve the company reputation, help increase revenue and enhance company culture through leadership and teamwork. The most prestigious award of the evening will be the first-ever “President’s Award.”

Rachel Wardley, Director of Corporate Support Services, led the nomination and evaluation process for LST and planned the award ceremony. “We value the opportunity to recognize and celebrate these awardees’ excellent performance.
